The Parish of Santa Rita in Madrid will host the 2026 Music Festival, a concert series bringing together distinguished international performers between March and June 2026.
The concerts will take place on the magnificent organ of the Church of Santa Rita — the Schuke-Blancafort organ.
Under the artistic direction of pianist and organist Anastasiia Marú and her ARTE+ project, and with the support of the Augustinian Recollects, the festival will feature organ recitals, chamber music concerts, and interdisciplinary programs combining music, visual art, and heritage.
The series will open on March 14, 2026, with an organ recital by Anastasiia Marú and will include performances by:

Among the festival’s most innovative features is the ARTE+ project, which fuses live music with visual arts, as well as chamber concerts in an intimate format.
The festival aims to bring classical music closer to the public, highlight organ heritage, and create a space for interaction between different artistic disciplines.

The Parish of Santa Rita in Madrid hosts the closing concert of the ARTE+ 2026 International Organ Festival, an edition that has brought together nine special concerts between March and June, turning this space into a meeting point for music, heritage, and contemporary artistic creation. The festival concerts are held on the historic Schuke-Blancafort organ of the Parish of Santa Rita, under the artistic direction of Anastasiia Marú.
As the closing event of this edition, the festival presents an exceptional evening featuring international soprano Angélica de la Riva, one of the most prominent voices in the current lyric scene, alongside organist Anastasiia Marú, founder and artistic director of the ARTE+ Festival.
The closing program offers a musical journey full of spirituality and emotion, traversing masterworks from the Renaissance to the present day. The audience will hear pieces such as Panis Angelicus by César Franck, Ave Maria by Franz Schubert, He Shall Feed His Flock by Handel, Ave Maria by Bach/Gounod, as well as Spanish works by Manuel de Falla and Joaquín Turina.
The closing program is conceived as a journey through some of the most beautiful pages of sacred and spiritual music, with works reflecting different eras and styles, from the Renaissance to the 20th and 21st centuries. Voice and organ will dialogue in a space particularly suited to this repertoire, creating an intimate and moving listening experience within the Parish of Santa Rita.
The concert will bring together works by César Franck, Franz Schubert, J. P. Sweelinck, Georg Friedrich Handel, Charles Gounod, Albert Hay Malotte, Johann Sebastian Bach, Manuel de Falla, Joaquín Turina, Hans Zimmer, and the traditional Amazing Grace.

International soprano Angélica de la Riva is an artist with an extensive career in the contemporary lyric scene, recognized for the expressive power of her voice, her stylistic versatility, and her intense stage presence.
Of Brazilian origin with Cuban-Spanish roots, she has trained at internationally renowned institutions such as The Juilliard School and Mannes School of Music in New York, a city where she developed a fundamental part of her career over more than fifteen years. Her trajectory has taken her to some of the world's most prestigious stages, including Carnegie Hall, David Geffen Hall, and Alice Tully Hall in New York, as well as concert halls and theaters across Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East.
As a soloist, she has collaborated with orchestras of great international prestige and under the direction of distinguished conductors, performing a broad repertoire spanning opera, symphonic music, and sacred music. Her operatic roles include parts in Tosca, La Traviata, Le Nozze di Figaro, and Pagliacci, alongside a special dedication to spiritual and contemporary repertoire.
Her career is characterized by a constant pursuit of dialogue between tradition and new forms of artistic expression, including premieres of contemporary music, interdisciplinary projects, and recitals conceived as complete scenic experiences. This artistic vision has allowed her to develop a distinctive identity in which classical training, theatricality, and a profound interpretive sensibility converge.
In addition to her activity as a performer, Angélica de la Riva maintains an intense educational and cultural engagement, linked to international music education and outreach projects, consolidating a career that combines artistic excellence, pedagogical commitment, and global reach.

🎸 GUITAR DUO

As part of the Arte Plus Organ Festival’s special programme, Santa Rita Parish Church is hosting a unique evening dedicated to the classical guitar, an instrument capable of combining intimacy, virtuosity and an extraordinary richness of tonal colour.
The renowned guitarist and teacher Francisco Jesús Fernández-Dávila, alongside the young performer Lennon Pérez Santana, will present a musical journey spanning different eras and styles, from the romantic delicacy of Francisco Tárrega to the soundscapes of Federico Moreno Torroba, the refined composition of Manuel M. Ponce and the contemporary sensibility of Roland Dyens.
The second half of the concert will culminate in one of the most brilliant works in the repertoire for guitar duet: Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s Sonatina Canónica. In this 20th-century masterpiece, the two instruments engage in a dialogue of elegance and virtuosity, creating a fascinating interplay of echoes, contrasts and melodies that highlights all the beauty and expressiveness of the guitar.

LENNON PÉREZ SANTANA
Born in Agaete, Gran Canaria, he began studying the guitar at the age of 10 at the EEAAM Lucy Cabrera, under the tutelage of Antonio G. Auyanet. It was with him that he later took up the electric guitar and modern music. He subsequently enrolled at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias (CSMC), specialising in classical and electric guitar performance, and received tuition from teachers such as José María Ramírez, Javier Infante and Yull Ballesteros, amongst others.
He has been intensely active both as a performer and a teacher. As a soloist, he has taken part in the Agaete Classical Guitar Festival, and as an accompanist he has performed at various private events and with the MEG orchestra. In his teaching role, he has been a guitar instructor at schools such as Lasalle Arucas, Marpe Altavista and Sagrado Corazón. He has also taught electric guitar at the Municipal Art Schools of Villa de Moya, and classical and electric guitar at the Letxet Music Academy and the EMM Candidito, where he continues to teach.
In 2024, he completed a Master’s degree in Performance and Research in Spanish Music at the Royal Conservatoire of Music in Madrid (RCSMM), thereby consolidating his training and commitment to teaching and musical performance.
FRANCISCO JESÚS FERNÁNDEZ-DÁVILA
Born in Madrid, he began his guitar studies there with Professor Carlos Perón, achieving top marks until he obtained his qualification as a guitar teacher. In 1993, he enrolled at the Madrid Conservatory of Music under Professor José Luís Rodrigo, where he completed his advanced studies and was awarded an ‘Honourable Mention’ upon graduation.
He undertook a postgraduate course with Professor Demetrio Ballesteros, advanced courses with the following teachers: Gerardo Arriaga, José Miguel Moreno, Miguel Trápaga, Robert Brigtmore, José Tomás and David Russell, amongst others, and furthered his studies in the field of early music with the musicologist Gerardo Arriaga, in flamenco with José Manuel Montoya at the Casa Patas Conservatory Foundation, and in Spanish music with Javier Somoza at the RCSMM.
He has been a member of the ‘Arte y Música’ Quartet, the guitar ensemble of the Madrid City Council’s ‘Vive la Música’ programme, the RCSMM Guitar Orchestra, the Folie Ensemble and Quinteto1909; a chamber ensemble whose repertoire focuses entirely on Spanish music, and has formed a duo with the flautist Miguel Ángel Aguado, with whom he performed the original repertoire of 19th-century music. He has performed at the Symphonos Festival, Madrid Vive la Música, Los Veranos de la Villa, Noches del Olivar, the Conde Duque Auditorium, Los Divinos… He has made recordings for TVE and, alongside guitarist Miguel Revuelta, contributed to the soundtrack of the short film “Aceite Rancio”.
He combines his concert work with teaching, having been invited to teach at the “Villa de Pastrana” and “Caja de Música” summer courses in Madrid, and is a contributor to the “Madrid Guitar Week”. He is currently a guitar teacher at the Teresa Berganza Professional Conservatory of Music, part of the Community of Madrid.

We are delighted to announce the world premiere of FLOS CARMELI, a new work for violin and organ composed especially for the ARTE+ Festival and dedicated to its performers, organist Anastasiia Marú and violinist Sergey Maiboroda.
Its composer, Carlos Danés, is a pianist, composer and conductor based in Madrid. Founder of Solson Studio, Piano Rooms and various initiatives dedicated to the promotion of classical music, he has built an outstanding career as a performer and creator, appearing on international stages and composing music for audiovisual projects, documentaries and concerts.
Inspired by the hymn to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, FLOS CARMELI is a work of profound spirituality and artistic sensitivity. The audience will have the unique opportunity to hear this creation for the first time anywhere in the world, as part of the ARTE+ Festival.
🎶 A special occasion to discover a new voice in contemporary musical creation.
Sergey Maiboroda is regarded by critics as one of the most virtuosic and charismatic young violinists of his generation. He has won awards at numerous international competitions, including the 21st Century Art Competition in Kyiv, the Eugene Coca Competition in Chisinau, and First Prize at the Llangollen International Euphonium and String Competition (United Kingdom). In 2014, he won Second Prize at the Forum Musicae Competition and at the Violins for Peace Competition held in Málaga, where he also received the Jesús de Monasterio Prize for the best performer of a work by a Spanish composer.
He is the author of the methodological handbook *Cadences for Violin as a Matter of Interpretive Analysis*, based on the cadences from J. Brahms’s Violin Concerto, a standard work in the pedagogical and analytical fields of the instrument.
He completed his studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid under the guidance of professors Marco Rizzi and Sergey Teslya. In 2014, he was awarded the Diploma for Most Outstanding Student in his department, presented by Her Majesty the Queen. He has given recitals and concerts in some of the leading venues in Ukraine, Germany, Poland and Switzerland. In Spain, he has performed at renowned venues such as the National Music Auditorium, the Juan March Foundation, the Teatro Real in Madrid, and the Unicaja María Cristina Concert Hall in Málaga. He was the youngest resident soloist of the Odessa National Philharmonic, as well as concertmaster at the Arriaga Theater in Bilbao and the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra. He is currently a member of the Orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.
Alongside his classical career, Sergey Maiboroda pursues a contemporary artistic practice focused on exclusive events, stage projects, and his own compositions, blending acoustic and electric violin. His work combines technical excellence, stage presence, and a musical language that engages with contemporary music, film scores, and electronic fusion, creating elegant, versatile, and deeply emotional musical experiences.

Marta Misztal Bloch was born in Zakopane (Poland). In her hometown, she combined musical studies at the Mieczysław Karłowicz Conservatory (piano class of Prof. Lidia Długołęcka) with sculpture studies at the Antoni Kenar Institute. She continued her sculpture education at the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSBA) in Paris.
In Madrid, she studied organ at the Arturo Soria Professional Conservatory of Music (Prof. Anselmo Serna) and at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid (Prof. Miguel del Barco Gallego), where she obtained the degree of Higher Professor of Organ.
She further developed her studies in Spain, Italy, Germany, and Switzerland with renowned masters such as Montserrat Torrent, Andrés Cea, Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini, Jean-Claude Zehnder, Michèle Bouvard, Paolo Crivellaro, Lorenzo Ghielmi, and Jan Willem Jansen. She was awarded a scholarship by the Hochschule für Musik in Leipzig (International Summer Music Academy Leipzig).
Her artistic activity focuses on early music, performing concerts in Spain and abroad, including: the 17th Organ Cycle at the Royal Palace (Madrid), the 33rd and 34th International Organ Week of Madrid, Las Edades del Hombre, La Música en el Camino, the 1st Organ Cycle of Córdoba, Música para Órgano en Navarra 2023, Organi Storici in Cadore, Vespri d’organo in San Martino in Bologna, Festival Internazionale ImagoMagi in Brugherio, the International J.S. Bach Organ Festival (Warsaw / Łowicz), and the Kazimierz Organ Festival.
She is the organist of the Church of San Antonio de los Alemanes, belonging to the Holy, Pontifical and Royal Brotherhood of Refuge and Piety of Madrid. She is also the founder of the Musical Chapel and coordinator of the International Organ Festival of the same church.

Born in Poland, he undertook studies in organ and saxophone. He is an Organist and Professor of Organ in the liturgical specialty, qualifications obtained with highest honors from the Episcopal School of Organ in Pelplin (Poland, 1993). He is also a Professor of Saxophone, a title awarded by the Conservatory of Music of Grudziądz (Poland, 1994). He later continued to expand his training and experience as an organist with Professor Esteban Landart at the Higher Conservatory of Music of San Sebastián (Musikene), and at the Higher Conservatory of Bydgoszcz (Poland) with Professor Radosław Marzec.
Since 2002 he has been based in Spain, where he regularly gives organ and saxophone concerts. Maestro Prella is also frequently invited to perform organ recitals at national and international festivals in Poland, Norway, Germany, the Balearic Islands, and Italy. His repertoire ranges from the Baroque period to works by contemporary composers. He is also a distinguished and highly respected expert in improvisation.
Throughout these years, he has served as organist in Los Corrales de Buelna (since 2002) and as principal organist of Santander Cathedral (since 2004). He is also the author and driving force behind the project for the construction of the three new organs of Santander Cathedral. He has released several compact disc recordings and is the Artistic Director of the International Baroque Organ Music Festival “Las Merindades” and the International Organ Music Festival of San Vicente Mártir. He is the author and master organ builder responsible for the construction of the three new organs of Santander Cathedral.

He holds a postgraduate diploma in organ from the “CSIC,” where he studied under the guidance of Dr. h.c. Montserrat Torrent, with whom he subsequently spent several years perfecting his technique and received various scholarships to study early Iberian music for organ.
He expanded his knowledge of the organ with several renowned masters such as Olivier Latry, Ludger Lohmann, Andreas Schröeder, Enrico Viccardi, Guido Ioti, and Joao Vaz, and received lessons from pianist Daniel Ligorio.
As a concert artist, he performs regularly in various organ series and festivals both nationally and internationally.
He has been recorded by the radio station Catalunya Música.
He is currently a piano professor at the Terrassa Professional Conservatory of Music, where he serves as head of the piano, harpsichord, and organ department.
He is the titular organist at the parish of Santa Maria de Barberà del Vallès.
